SKIF Frontier – Modern EDC Knife by Oleksii Nesterenko

The SKIF Frontier is a modern EDC knife developed in collaboration with Ukrainian knife designer Oleksii Nesterenko. It is designed for everyday use, travel, and outdoor activities, combining functionality with a clean, contemporary design.

A key feature of the Frontier is the choice of handle materials, allowing customers to select between micarta for a more tactile, natural feel or G-10 for maximum durability and resistance.

The blade is made from D2 tool steel, known for its excellent edge retention and practical performance in everyday use. It is easy to maintain and well-suited for users who need a reliable cutting tool. The Drop Point blade shape remains one of the most versatile and user-friendly options.

The knife opens effortlessly using a flipper, supported by a ceramic ball-bearing pivot system for smooth and controlled deployment. Once opened, the blade is secured with a reliable Liner Lock.

For improved control, the knife features jimping along the spine, providing a secure thumb grip during use. Like all SKIF folding knives, the Frontier includes a deep-carry pocket clip and a lanyard hole for convenient everyday carry.
