SKIF Urbanite II SW – Urban EDC with Outdoor Capability

The SKIF Urbanite II is the next generation of a popular model from the 400 series. As the name suggests, it is designed for urban everyday carry, while still being fully capable for outdoor use such as travel, camping, and general tasks.

The blade is made from upgraded 9Cr18MoV stainless steel, with higher carbon and chromium content compared to the previous 8Cr13MoV version. This provides improved hardness and better corrosion resistance.

The blade features near full flat grinds from the spine, delivering excellent cutting performance. The Drop Point blade shape offers a balanced combination of slicing efficiency and piercing strength. The Stonewash finish (SW) helps reduce visible scratches and wear during regular use.

The knife opens via flipper and thumb stud, supported by a ball-bearing pivot system for smooth and fast deployment. The flipper also acts as a finger guard, providing additional control when applying more force.

The knife is equipped with a reliable Frame Lock, one of the most widely trusted locking systems in folding knives. The new generation also features additional jimping on the spine, handle, flipper, and lock bar for improved grip and handling.

The handle is made from G-10, ensuring a secure grip even in wet conditions or when wearing gloves. A pocket clip and lanyard hole provide practical carry options.
